The three test conditions, secondary dilution ratio (SDR), filter face velocity (FFV), and filter media, had a major effect on the resulting PM deposition. Both PM systems showed similar trends across tests with like testing conditions. It was determined that the 2007 CFR compliant PM system was capable of producing repeatable results with a common coefficient of variation (CV) of less then 2%, across a range of moderate SDRs, FFVs, and certain filter medias.
